Soumyanath is Supply Chain Management and Product Development coach with over 28 years of experience involving Manufacturing operations and IT. He had worked in the largest Indian automobile company for over 18 yrs in the areas of Product Development, Supply Chain Managemet, Quality System (ISO:9000), Business Process Re-engineering, Business Excellence (Malcolm Baldridge model), and Project Management and 10 yrs in one of the Big Three IT software industry managing ERP implementation and support for many Fortune 500 companies both in India and abroad. He is author of the book, "Conscious Operations: a brief introduction". He was TVS Motors Chair professor in IIT, Kharagpur and had been visiting faculty of XLRI, Jamshedpur.
He is Fellow of Indian Institution Engineers (IIE) and Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE). His experience spans accross new product introduction, strategic planning, project management, lean management and total quality systems. Soumyanath is currently interested in sustainable supply chain development. He is also interested in smart manufacturing.
Soumyanath has interests in advicing on Opreation Management, Lean Management, Sustainable Lifestyle, Open Source (Mukt) Software, Microcontroller based Process automation and Science Education for school going students.
